This place is absolutely wonderful! From the large front porch, beautiful and comfortable interior spaces, to the cozy and private back yard we found this house to have it all. Dana was very friendly and helpful and the Cherry St House was everything we were looking for as a large group with children. We loved that there was plenty of space for everyone, that we could walk to restaurants and shops or just to enjoy the neighborhood, and that Dana included so many thoughtful little touches in the house to help us feel welcome. We highly recommend and will definitely stay again if we ever find ourselves in Springfield someday!

By far the best AirB&B we have ever rented, and we have rented many. Clean, well stocked, comfortable beds, good air conditioning, and super host! Dana's personal touch was everywhere from starter food in the frig, plenty of good towels, and welcome note and departure gift. Totally unexpected but lovely touch. We were greeted and shown how to find things and work the fans. Sounds unnecessary but helpful. Thank you Dana for all the special attention on a difficult weekend. The Cherry House lived up to its "home away from home" reputation. We would highly recommend and rent again on another return to Springfield in the future.

We had an unexpected stay in Springfield due to a flight getting cancelled and I reached out about last minute accommodations. Dana was super responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and this will be our new go to place in Springfield!

The house was fantastic and super clean. Dana left snacks and drinks for us which was super awesome. I forgot my toothbrush/toothpaste and I was super happy to find that they provide bothe just in case you end up needing them. 5 out 5 would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

The Cherry St House was one of the best rental experiences we've had. It's clear Dana takes pride in her home by all the thoughtful touches she puts in to make her guests feel more like staying with a friend. The home is spotless and looks even better than the pictures. The fall decor made it feel cozy and welcoming along with all the beautiful landscaping. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with snacks, eggs, milk, cereals, coffee and more! Enjoyed the Solo stove out in the private backyard one evening and there were even all the supplies for smores to enjoy. Really enjoyed our experience staying at the Cherry St House and Dana's hospitality!

Dana and her husband Steve were outstanding hosts. I can't begin to list all of the wonderful features of the house. They had even decorated the house for Halloween! Plenty of room for my husband, son, daughter and partner, and 7 month old grandchild. Well stocked kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room. Absolutely spotless! The backyard is wonderful with a solo stove, stocked wood for burning. Dana had even provided everything needed for smores. Unfortunately we didn't get around to making any, but will definitely be back to partake in the future. I have stayed in many Airbnb's, this one is outstanding.

Our stay at Dana’s place was great! We loved sitting around the fire pit in the back and roasting marshmallows. Also, our kids love good books, and Dana had a great selection of literature in the house. My youngest daughter thought that the swing in her bedroom was fantastic. In addition ti the listed amenities, Dana brought candy over for our kids as our family was loading up to leave. We loved that it was dog friendly and that we were able to bring our pets with us. We would absolutely stay here again.

The Cherry Street House was really nice, overall the nicest we've booked through Airbnb or the other site. It was as described including amenities. The place was clean, the kitchen well-stocked, and many really nice extras that you don't normally see at these properties, like eggs and butter, milk, cereal, all the ingredients for S'mores on the fire pit, artisan soaps and more. The yard was a huge bonus for us and our Corgis. Dog friendly brew pub and restaurants within a couple of blocks and a walkable neighborhood. When we return to Springfield, we will stay here again.

Dana was the sweetest host! She came to greet and check on us. Her house was immediately embracing! Very bed had a spa like towel and soap set. Everything was well thought of. She know I had children with me an md has little things for them. This was by far the best vacation home I have ever been too. It was so cozy!! I slept wonderful! She had extra blankets, just extra everything! The house was clean! I would go back there if I needed too!

We had some issues with the heat as the system was experiencing some problems and the fire place flu was left open and was stuck that way. It was bitter cold out during our visit and Dana was quick to address it and try to help us promptly. The owners were very kind and helpful. The place is wonderful with great space inside and out. We loved the big table and had room for all of our family to have dinner. We had our 2 dogs with us and the backyard was perfect. We stay in Springfield Airbnbs frequently as our grown children live there and this is a great place to stay!! We would definitely recommend it!

I stayed here with my four teens. We all loved the place. It's very comfortable, incredibly clean (maybe the cleanest air bnb I've ever stayed in), and well stocked with treats. Dana was highly responsive and easy to work with. The location is perfect for Springfield. Situated in super cool Rountree area with easy access to downtown and MSU. Highly recommend staying here and will be back.

Our stay at The Cherry Street House was outstanding! It is a lovingly cared for, beautifully restored and decorated, sparkling clean and comfortable, 100 year old home with lots of character, plentiful parking, and in a nice neighborhood. Upon walking inside our reaction was “ WOW!” It is a good house for groups from the large dining room table to the shaded backyard with several seating areas and lovely gardens. Dana has everything clearly labeled and has thought of every eventuality down to the first aid kit in the bathroom. She provides many extra amenities like eggs, milk, pop, snacks, and even a welcome gift. She provides dog bowls, doggie blankets, and a fenced in backyard as she welcomes dogs! Dana is a very gracious , thoughtful host . She kindly greeted us and wanted to ensure we had everything we needed and if she could help us in any way. We were in town for our Mother’s funeral and this house provided rest and respite for us. Dana and her house are a gem!

This is a home we will return to! It is a beautifully renovated Craftsman that is exactly how it’s pictured in the description. Owner/manager, Dana, is a pleasure to communicate with, and she goes above and beyond in providing extra touches (snacks, locally-made specialty soaps) as well as basic staples (milk, eggs, coffee) to make her guests feel welcome. Upon arrival I was skeptical that the front (primary) bedroom would be quiet enough to sleep, given that it faces Cherry St, but I was proven completely incorrect! Little or no traffic noise was evident at any time during our stay. I would recommend this home to anyone.

Loved our stay here! The place was beautiful and was perfect for our long weekend! Dana was responsive and worked with us to add a night at the beginning of our weekend due to weather. And then her son was so great to get out in the 6 inches of snow the next morning and shovel and clear our car! Truly above and beyond, and extras to make us feel completely at home! We had a wonderful weekend!

We really enjoyed our stay while in town for a wedding. It was easy to walk down to the Pickwick shops and just a short drive to downtown. The adorable home has tons of character but modern baths and kitchen. Great outdoor spaces and so many little nice details provided for guests. The host had lots of communication with us. We would recommend staying here anytime you’re in the area.

The Cherry St. House exceed our expectations! Dana went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and always responded when we did have questions! The house was very clean and felt very homey! Had all the necessities for babies such as play pens, high chairs and toys! Beds were very comfy and they provided a couple of fans for those who enjoy a little white noise while sleeping! The backyard is such a cute hangout area and they also have a solo stove and s’mores sticks!! Definitely a wonderful home for families or for a fiend get together! Highly recommend!
